Prince George RCMP responded to the report of a deceased woman in a residence in the 1500 Block of Victoria Street in the city on July 17th. According to reports, the body was located at at the North Star Inn and Suites.

The Serious Crime Unit was called in and the death was deemed suspicious, and on July 31st police confirmed the death of the woman to be a homicide.
