Police lay charged in the Windsor Ontario homicide of Lamont Rhue

Windsor Police Service patrol officers attended a residence in the 800 block of Louis Avenue on the report of a deceased man on February 23rd at approximately 2:00pm.

An autopsy was performed on February 25th and revealed that the victim Lamont Rhue, a 55 year old male from Windsor was the victim of a homicide. The cause of death has not been released at this time.

On February 26th police arrested Leon Quesnel, 33 year of Windsor in the area of Erie Street West and Ouellette Avenue. Quesnel has been charged with First Degree Murder and Possession of a Scheduled Substance – fentanyl.
