Toronto police responded to a 911 call from a woman who they say “was in crisis” in King’s Mill Park on February 26th at approximately 11:00 am.

Police and paramedics arrived and located Kathleen Hatcher, 69, with significant injuries and without vitals. She was pronounced at the scene. Duty Insp. Andy Singh believes the incident happened between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. when the woman was walking in one of the trails.

Colin Hatcher, 37, the victim’s son, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
