Edmonton Police responded to report of a shooting at around 7:30am at 171 Avenue and 126 Street on October 7th.

Police arrived to find a man suffering from a serious gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Little information has been released at this time. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

Update October 11th

Edmonton medical examiner has identified the victim of last week’s homicide as Phu Phan 30.  An autopsy conducted confirmed that Phan died of multiple gunshot wounds.
