Omar Terrence Albert killed in home invasion

Edmonton police responded to report of a break in and an assault on October 4th at around 2:30am on McConachie Boulevard.

According to Edmonton police, the homeowners were tied up, blindfolded and beaten, and another man shot in the basement.

The man was later identified at Omar Terrence Albert.

All three people were rushed to hospital. The woman was released the same day, her husband remains at hospital still recovering, and Omar Albert died from his injuries on October 4th.

The suspects were demanding money and drugs.

Edmonton police are asking for the help of the public in identifying the suspects.

Suspect 1:  5’10” to 6’ tall black male in his early twenties, slim, he was also wearing dark thick rimmed round glasses and spoke in an accent with broken English.
Suspect 2:  5’10” to 5’11” tall, short beard, late twenties, stalky build, also speaking in an accent with broken English.
