Montreal police responded to a 911 call 911 report of gunshots shortly after midnight on March 10th, in the area of Pierre-Corneille and Boucherville streets, near the Place Versailles shopping center.

Police arrived to find a man suffering from shooting injuries to the upper body. He was rushed to hospital where he died a few hours later. Police have not released the identity of the deceased at this time.

No arrests have been made at this time.
