Police investigate the death of a Troy Boone, 15, in Northwest Edmonton

Edmonton police responded to a call for assistance from Fire Rescue Services, at a commercial address near 136 Avenue and 97 Street on September 2nd at approximately 6:00am.

According to reports, 15-year-old Troy Boone was found suffering serious injuries in the parking lot of the Rosslyn Inn and Suites hotel. He was rushed to hospital where he died from his injuries.

Update September 5th
An autopsy was completed and the manner of death has been confirmed to be a homicide, and the cause of death was sharp force injury. On September 2nd police arrested Bradley Michael Edward Almas, 21. He has since been charged with second-degree murder.

On September 4th police issued a warrant for the arrest of Bradley Clifford Leland, 23 also known as Bradley Durocher. Leland is believed to be in the Edmonton area, and police are seeking public assistance in locating him. He is believed to be dangerous and should not be approached. Police do not believe the victim was known to the two accused.

Anyone with information about either the whereabouts of Leland or any information about the unidentified male witness is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567.

Update September 10th
Edmonton police arrested Bradley Leland, 23, (also known as Bradley Durocher) at approximately 3:20 a.m. on Sept. 8, 2020 in connection to a stolen vehicle incident.
