The 2024 Brampton Homicide Victim List is available here

Peel Police and paramedics were called to the area of Big Sky Way and Van Kirk Drive in Brampton for a residential home that was fully engulfed in flames on March 7th at approximately 1:30pm.

Once the fire was extinguished investigators located what was believed to be human remains within the house. Detectives from the Peel Regional Police Homicide Bureau with the Office of the Chief Coroner have identified the remains as Rajiv Warikoo, age 51, Shilpa Kotha, age 47, and Mahek Warikoo, age 16. Police said all three of the deceased resided at the address.
