Peel Region Police responded to a shooting in the area of Rutherford Road & Bramsteele Road in Brampton on April 22nd at approximately 7:11 p.m.

On arrival police located Aomar Abdolah, a 36-year-old man from Milton, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Police believe this was a targeted incident and that no evidence suggests any public safety threat.

A white four-door newer model Scion with black rims was seen leaving the area of the crime scene.
