Peel police responded to several repots of gunshots in the area of Archdekin Dr and Rutherford Rd N on March 10th at approximately 7:00pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find Jerome Green, 23, suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim died as a result of his injuries. Cst. Akhil Mooken said the homicide and missing persons bureau has taken carriage of the investigation.

Police said Green was driving a grey Volkswagen Jetta, when he stopped near Archedkin Drive and Pennywood Road and an unknown man approached his vehicle and fired multiple gunshots into the car. The suspect fled the scene on foot, and  entered a silver/grey Hyundai Elantra, through the passenger side. The Hyundai then fled in an erratic manner, PRP believe the erratic driving may be captured on dashcam or security video.
