Peel police responded to the report of a shooting at approximately 4:16 a.m. on June 5th in the area of Alfred Kuehne Boulevard and Advance Boulevard.

Police located a victim suffering from serious injuries. The victim, 38-year-old Alberto Suman-Ossa from Maple, was transported to a trauma centre where he died as a result of his injuries.

Anyone with information on this incident, surveillance or dashcam footage, that may have captured the moments leading up to, during, or after the incident is asked to contact investigators at 905-453-2121 extension 3205.

Update July 2nd,
Sheldon McFarlane, 40, of Toronto was arrested on June 29th and charged with Second Degree Murder.
