Ottawa homicide 3 – Police investigate the fatal shooting of Omar Al-Khalidi

Ottawa police were called to the Ottawa Hospital General Campus in regards to a person who arrived at the facility with a gunshot wound on February 14th at around 7:00pm.

Through the investigation, police learned that 18-year-old Omar Al-Khalidi had been shot in the 1500 block of Station Blvd. Al-Khalidi died of his injuries at the hospital.

Ottawa police announced that a 17-year-old youth faces a first-degree murder charge in the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Omar Al-Khalidi.
