Ottawa police responded to a home on Sherry Lane in Nepean, on July 22 at approximately 1:30 am.

On arrival police located Christopher Avery Houghton, 25, who was suffering from a stab wound. The Homicide team has taken over the investigation.

Update July 28th
Nicholas COX, 20, of Ottawa, has been charged with Second degree murder.

Update August 7th
Erick SILVA-STONE, 19 years old, of Ottawa has been charged with Second degree murder. He appeared in court on August 5th and was remanded into custody
