Police and paramedics responded to reports of a shooting around 6:30pm on April 19th at Town Centre Park.

20-year-old Bailey McKinney was located and paramedics performed life saving measures as they wheeled the stretcher to the ambulance. The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Sgt Frank Jang of the IHIT said “We are aware that there were several people in the immediate area when the shooting occurred. Many of them fled the scene, understandably, from the shock of having witnessed a shooting. However, if you were one of those people, we need you to come forward now.“
