Montreal police responded to the report of a shooting inside a private residence on Trenton Avenue near Aberdale Road on December 24th at approximately 1:45 am.

Police and paramedics located an 18-year-old male victim unconscious and suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police said the victim had been attending a party when a fight broke out, and shots were fired.

Update June 2nd
The SPVM arrested two 20-year-old men, who will be charged with second-degree murder at the Montreal courthouse. One of them was already in custody for a different crime. A 20-year-old woman was also arrested and charged as an accomplice.
