Black Lake RCMP received a report of a suspicious death on Black Lake First Nation on December 14th at approximately 9:10am.

Police said the victim has been identified as Arley Cook, 27, of Black Lake First Nation and his death is considered a homicide.

On December 16th police arrested Jerrick Stalthanee, 21, of Black Lake First Nation and charged him with one count of second-degree murder.
