RCMP said Jamie Sark was last seen in late August, 2021, near Mosquito Path in Lennox Island, and he was reported missing to police on August 25th, 2021.

In November RCMP located his remains in a heavily wooded area near the community. RCMP Major Crime Unit deemed the death suspicious in nature.

On April 25, 2022, RCMP arrested 32-year-old Christopher Douglas Sark  in connection with the investigation. He has been charged with manslaughter. He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to return to court on April 27th, 2022, at 10 a.m.
