Three teens charged in relation to the homicide of a 27-year-old man in Saskatoon

A Saskatoon police officer was waved down by a 27-year-old male who said that he had been shot in the 200 block of Ave O South on April 24th at approximately 6:30 am.

The victim who had been identified as Shedane Favel was rushed to hospital by Medavie Health Services West where he died of his injuries.

Three male teens, ages 13, 14, and 16, all from Saskatoon, are charged with Second Degree Murder in connection with the shooting.

Investigators have determined that a robbery involving a firearm that took place in the same area just prior to the homicide.  The first incident involved a separate victim who had been riding a bicycle and fled the scene. Police are asking him to come forward.
