Kamloops police responded to a shooting on Ord Road near Singh Street on August 26th at 10:45pm.

Police said two men were injured while inside a Toyota Matrix. Police said the driver was pronounced deceased and the passenger was taken to hospital in stable condition.

Kamloops RCMP inspector Jeff Pelley said “Although the investigation is in its very early stages, the homicide victim was well-known to police and the shooting is believed to be targeted.”
