Langley RCMP was responded to the report of the sound of gunshots in the 7000 block of 202 Street on August 2, 2024, just after midnight.

On arrival officers were responding an additional report of two men suffering from gunshot wounds at the hospital. One of the men has succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators said the shooting is believed to be an isolated incident.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called and will be working in partnership with the Langley RCMP.

According to The Vancouver Sun, the victim has been identified as Dillan Unger, 41.
