Konstantin Grenier-Naud Charged with Second-Degree Murder in Daylight Killing in Amos

The Sûreté du Québec were called to an altercation that took place just before 11 a.m on December 14th on 2nd Avenue West.

Police located a man in his 50s, Patrick McKenzie, critically injured. The victim was rushed to hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Officers arrested a man in his twenties at the scene. He was questioned by investigators shortly after his arrest as police secured the area to protect evidence and maintain the integrity of the scene.

The accused, identified as Konstantin Grenier-Naud, appeared in court at the Amos courthouse on Monday morning. He has been charged with second-degree murder and remains in custody as the case moves forward.

According to reports, Patrick McKenzie was the boyfriend Konstantin Grenier-Naud.

Specialized investigators from the provincial police, along with a forensic identification technician, were sent to examine the scene and continue the investigation.
