Thirteen people charged in the 2024 homicide of Jennifer Morin who was found deceased in Charlesbourg

Quebec City Police Service were called to a home on Louis-XIV Boulevard in the Charlesbourg area to assist paramedics on December 16th at approximately 9:15am.

45-year-old Jennifer Morin was located deceased with signs of violence on her body.

According to journaldequebec.com “The tragedy occurred almost three years to the day after a raid by the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) that led to her arrest on December 15, 2021. She and eight other suspects involved in a major drug trafficking network were then handcuffed”

Update: On September 30th, CBC reported that thirteen people were arrested in Quebec and Ontario in connection with the December 2024 killing of 45-year-old Jennifer Morin, who is believed to have been mistakenly targeted instead of her son. Morin’s son, Jeffrey Morin, is a known member of the notorious gang called the Blood Family Mafia.

The suspects, aged 18 to 51, include both men and women. Six are expected to appear in court to face charges of murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

*According to reports, Jeffrey Morin was sentenced to nearly seven years in prison in July 2025 after pleading guilty to gun and drug trafficking.
