Island Lake RCMP responded to the report of an unconscious man who was found on a road in Garden Hill with serious injuries on October 23rd at approximately 2:45am.

The 35-year-old victim was transported to the nursing station where he was pronounced deceased.

A 35-year-old woman has been taken into custody, and the death is being treated as a homicide. The investigation is ongoing.
