Toronto police responded to a medical call at 9:41 p.m on January 22nd in the area of Murray Ross Parkway and Sentinel Road.

Leah St Jean, 32, of Toronto, was located in the building suffering from serious injuries. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her identity and cause of death have not been released.

Toronto police arrested Soreeysa Abdi, 26, of Toronto on January 22nd. Soreeysa has been charged with Second Degree Murder. Police have not disclosed the relationship between the victim and the accused.
