The 2022 Brampton Homicide Victim List is available here

Peel police and paramedics responded to the report of shots fired in the area of Botavia Downs Drive and Brisdale Drive in the City of Brampton on April 28, 2022, at approximately 9:50 p.m.

On arrival police located a 22-year-old man inside a vehicle parked outside a residence, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau have taken carriage of this investigation. Peel police said in a Press Release that Investigators believe that the victim was the intended target of this shooting and that this was an isolated incident.

There is no suspect information available at this time, anyone with information on this incident, has surveillance or dashcam footage or may have captured the moments leading up to, during, or after the incident is asked to contact investigators at 905-453-2121 extension 3205.
