Update: Charges laid – Halifax police investigate the shooting death of a man in the city’s North End

Halifax police responded to weapons call in the 2100 block of Gottingen Street on March 18th at approximately 2:35 am for a weapons complaint.

On arrival police located a man in his 20’s suffering from a gunshot injury. The victim was rushed to the hospital where he died of his injuries. The victim’s identity has not been released at this time.

Update March 19th
Halifax police have identified the victim as Treyvhon Alrick Bradshaw, 25.

Update April 28th
Halifax police are asking for the public’s assistance identifying two persons of interest in relation to the homicide of Treyvhon Bradshaw. Police said the two persons of interest who were in the area at the time of the incident.

Investigators have taken all steps but have not been able to identify these people. Police are asking the individuals or anyone with information on their identity to call police at 902-490-5020.

Update June 14th
Makayle Larry James Skinner has been charged with first-degree murder in relation to the Gottingen Street shooting.
