Edmonton police responded to the report of a deceased male found in the area of 92 Avenue and 77 Street on January 1st at 1:20pm.

An autopsy was preformed on January 3rd, and determined the death of Ruben Baker 21 was a homicide. Police have not released the cause of death at this time  to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation.
