Edmonton police responded to a weapons complaint on July 21st at 5:20 am in a residence near 101 Avenue and 153 Street. Police located the victim, James Joel Dunham, 40, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Edmonton police are asking for assistance from the public in locating a person of interest, Kendall Desjarlais (pictured below) in connection to the death of James Dunham.
Edmonton police have provided a photo of the victim James Dunham (pictured below) in hopes of receiving information from the public regarding the activities of the deceased leading up to his death on July 21.

Update October 15th
Brendan Christopher Dion, 27, was arrested and is facing a second degree murder charge in relation to the death of James Joel Dunham.
