Edmonton police responded to a report of a shooting placed by a taxi cab driver at 5am on August 26th  at 142 Street and Yellowhead Trail.

Police attempted CPR however the victim believed to be in his 20’s was declared dead at the scene.

Sgt. Duane Hunter of Homicide Section is urging anyone who was at Flux Ultra Lounge and my have information in relation to this investigation to call EPS at 780-423-4567.

Update August 31st
An autopsy conducted on August 30th revealed the identity of the victim as Shardi Abdi Hassan, 23. The Edmonton Medical Examiner said Hassan died as a result of gunshot wounds.
