The 2023 Edmonton homicide victim list is available here

Edmonton police responded to a weapons complaint inside an apartment building in the area of 83 Avenue and 101 Street on September 12, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m.

on arrival police located Jason Moch, 38, suffering from serious injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics. The Edmonton medical examiner said he died as a result of a gunshot wound. The manner of death is homicide.
