The 2025 Edmonton Homicide Victim List is available here

On Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at around 8:52 p.m., members of the EPS Community Safety Team were conducting proactive patrols near 97 Street and 107 Avenue when they discovered a deceased man. The victim had clear signs of injury, and the case has since been turned over to the Homicide Section.

An autopsy completed on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, confirmed the victim, Burton Lee Gambler, 42, died as a result of a homicide. The cause of death is being withheld at this time for investigative reasons.
