The 2023 Edmonton homicide victim list is available here

Edmonton police responded to responded to multiple reports of a disturbance in the area of Jasper Avenue and 100 Street on March 31st at approximately 12:55 p.m.

On arrivsl police located an injured, unresponsive male. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. The cause of death has not been released.

The EPS Homicide Section has taken over the investigation. A 50-year-old male has been taken into custody. 

It was reported that a witness was seen recording the altercation that preceded police response. Investigators are asking that person to come forward, as well as any other witnesses to the events leading up to the death of the male. They are asked to contact police at 780-423-4567.
