The 2025 Alberta Homicide Victim List is available here
On Thursday, June 19, 2025, around 2:15 p.m., Downtown Branch Patrol officers responded to a report of an assault at a home near 95 Street and 106 Avenue. When they arrived, they found the victim seriously injured. He was treated on scene by EMS and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A 42-year-old man was located nearby and arrested. He was initially charged with aggravated assault.
Tragically, on Sunday, June 22, the victim, identified as Robert Gladue, died in the hospital. Following an autopsy on Tuesday, June 24, the Medical Examiner confirmed that Gladue died of blunt force trauma, and ruled his death a homicide.
Update: Charges against Dustin Chisholm, 42, have been upgraded to second-degree murder.
