The 2022 Edmonton Homicide Victim List is available here

Edmonton police responded to the report of an injured male inside a residence in the area of 106 Avenue and 105 Street on September 8th at approximately 9:30pm.

On arrival police located Yakubu Usman Saibu, 40, suffering from a gunshot wound, and administered first aid. EMS responded, however, Usman Saibu succumbed to his injuries on scene.

Homicide Section continues to investigate and is asking anyone with information about Usman Saibu’s death to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567.
