Curtis Ross Dalebozik charged with manslaughter in relation to the death of Cork and Flame restaurant owner Kyriakos Vogiatzakis

Winnipeg Police Service responded to a physical altercation involving two males in front of Cork and Flame in the 3100 block of Portage Avenue on January 24th at approximately 5:30 p.m.

On arrival police located Kyriakos Vogiatzakis, 51, who was requiring medical attention. He was transported to hospital in critical condition, where he later died of his injuries.

Curtis Ross Dalebozik, 38, was arrested and has been charged with Manslaughter and Uttering Threats.

Police said investigators determined that Vogiatzakis and Dalebozik had prior contact near the business. The two became involved in a confrontation, resulting in the VOGIATZAKIS being pushed to the ground and further assaulted until he lost consciousness.
