Update: Two men and a youth charged with first-degree murder – Calgary police investigate shooting death in Legacy

Calgary police were called to a park near the intersection of Legacy Parade and Legacy Lane S.E. on July 14th at approximately 3:50pm on report of a man shot in a vehicle.

Police arrived to find a deceased male at the scene. police said The investigation is in its early stages, and at this time, it does not appear there is any further danger to the public and the shooting appears to have been targeted.

Investigators now have two adults and one youth, with charges pending. The names of the adult suspects will be released once charges are formally laid.

Update July 16th
Joseph Chlala, 19, of Calgary, Troy Lemke, 35, of Calgary, and a 15-year-old male from Ottawa, have all been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Christian Navos, 32, of Edmonton.

Police said they believe the death was a result of a drug-related dispute.
