The 2023 Winnipeg Homicide Victim List is available here

Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 200 block of Flora Avenue for the report of suspicious circumstances on December 30th at 3:00 p.m.

On arrival police located 20-year-old Brooklyn Elijah Hiebert of Winnipeg deceased outside. police have deemed the death of Hiebert a homicide.

Update: On July 7, 2024, investigators arrested 36-year-old Christopher Kyle WATTMAN of Winnipeg, on the strength of a warrant for First Degree Murder.

On October 15, investigators arrested 26-year-old Victoria Lee ANDREWS of Winnipeg at the Headingley Women’s Corrections Centre where she was being held on an unrelated matter. She has been charged with First Degree Murder.
