The 2023 Brampton Homicide Victim List is available here

Peel police responded to the area of Plentywood Drive and Financial Drive in Brampton October 2, 2023, at approximately 10:27 a.m.

On arrival police located 46-year-old Rania Badran from Brampton deceased, with apparent signs of trauma. The cause death has not been released.

Police arrested the victim’s husband, Basel Mohammad, a 37-year-old man from Brampton and charged him with second-degree murder.

Investigation into the death of Rania Badran is ongoing.
