The 2025 Regina Homicide Victim List is available here

At around 6:00 p.m., officers responded to a call on the 1500 block of Cameron Street. Upon arrival, they found a 27-year-old male deceased in an alley just west of Cameron Street. The victim had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. Police have not released his identity.

The area was quickly secured, and additional units, including the Regina Police Service Major Crime Unit, the Forensic Identification Unit, and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service, were brought in to assist with the investigation.

As a result, 26-year-old Sky Starr-Goforth has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder under Section 235(1) of the Criminal Code.

This incident marks the ninth homicide in Regina so far this year.
