The 2022 Surrey BC Homicide Victim List is available here

Surrey police were called to 184 Street near Fraser Highway in Cloverdale on August 18th at approximately 10:00pm.

On arrival police located a 45-year-old man suffering from serious injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries on August 19th.

According to reports, The victim was involved in a confrontation with a woman on a bus. Police said the victim exited the bus police said a group of youths confronted the victim before stabbing him.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken carriage of the investigation and ask anyone with dashcam video who was in the area of 184 Street and Fraser Highway between 9:50 p.m and 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 18 to contact the IHIT Information Line at 1-877-551-IHIT (4448) or by email at ihitinfo@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
