A 21-year-old man was found dead on October 3rd, 2024, in the afternoon at a residence on rue George-Cusson in Sherbrooke, in the Eastern Townships. According to Frédéric Deshaies, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the victim showed visible signs of violence.

Sherbrooke police were called to the scene late in the afternoon, where the man was pronounced dead. The SQ’s Crimes Against the Person Division has taken over the investigation to determine what happened and the circumstances surrounding the death.
