York Regional Police responded to a Camino Drive residence in the area of Rutherford Road and Jane Street in Vaughan on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at approximately 9:20 a.m.

On arrival, police located an adult female with critical injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her cause of death and identity have not been released.

Police arrested a 15-year-old male of the City of Vaughan, and charged him with Second-Degree Murder. Investigators are not looking for any additional suspects.
