The 2025 Toronto Homicide Victim List is available here
On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at approximately 8:04 p.m., Toronto police responded to a call for a Shooting in the Sherbourne Street and Queen Street East area.
On arrival, officers found 43-year-old Lyle Pounall suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts, Pounall was pronounced dead at the hospital.
His death marks Toronto’s third homicide of 2025.
Update: Officers have now identified a wanted suspect in this investigation.
Dellano Robertson-Berry, 24, of Toronto, is wanted on a Canada-Wide warrant for:
- Second Degree Murder
The suspect is described as 5’7″ tall, with a medium build. An image of the suspect has been released.
The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. If anyone sees him, do not approach, and call 9-1-1 immediately.
