Agassiz RCMP responded to Harrison Mills paramedics to attend the scene of a medical emergency involving an 11-year-old boy on February 25th. According to global news the event took place in Sq’welets First Nation at around 5:00pm.
The boy was rushed to hospital with extensive injuries, where he died on March 1st. Sgt. Frand Jang said “We have a good grasp of what happened we believe, and are following up with people we believe have information.”
An autopsy is scheduled for later this week to determine the exact cause of death.
