York Regional Police were advised that a man had attended a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound on August 10th at approximately 2:00am. The victim died of his injuries in hospital.

The victim has been identified as Azando Fearon, 17, of Toronto.

It has been reported that the shooting happened at approximately 1:45 a.m., after an altercation outside of a residence in the area of Cranston Park Avenue and Ridgeway Court in Vaughan. Police said two suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle.

Investigators with the assistance of the York Regional Police Emergency Response Unit executed warrants in the Cities of Toronto and Vaughan. Babatunji FASORANTI, 18, City of Vaughan and Jahvon POWELL, 18, City of Toronto have both been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
