The 2023 Winnipeg Homicide Victim List is available here

Winnipeg Police Service responded to the area of Curtis Street and Higgins Avenue for a report of possible human remains on April 15, 2023, at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Police located the deceased person and investigators have not been able to confirm any details of the deceased person. A post-mortem examination is pending.

Information will be updated as it becomes available.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information or residential/commercial video surveillance footage that may assist investigators is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS.
