York Regional Police received a report of several shots fired outside of a store in the area of Highway 7 West near Ansley Grove Boulevard on December 23, 2023, at approximately 9:30 a.m.

On arrival police located Robert HINN, a 34-year-old male from Vaughan suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries on January 7, 2024.

Investigators believe there are at least two suspects who left the area in a dark-coloured SUV. The shooter is described as a male wearing all dark clothing and a dark face mask. There is no description of the other suspect.
