Update: Jordan Irving charged with Manslaughter – Tyler McKay identified as Winnipeg’s latest homicide victim

Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of an assault in the 400 block of Toronto Street on July 24th at approximately 2:00am.

Police arrived to find 20-year-old Tyler McKay, seriously injured outside a residence. McKay was rushed to hospital in unstable condition, where he succumbed to his injuries.

According to reports Jordan Irving an McKay were both at a social gathering in the 400 block of Toronto Street. When they became involved in a verbal argument that led to the stabbing of Tyler McKay. Irving fled the scene on foot.

Winnipeg announced that Jordan Julius IRVING was arrested and charged with Manslaughter and an unrelated Warrant for Failing to Appear in Court.
