The 2024 Quebec City Homicide Victim List is available here

Quebec City police responded to the report of an unresponsive child at a home daycare on March 21st.

On arrival police and paramedics located the 14-month-old girl. She was rushed to hospital where she died of her injuries. Police have not revealed the cause of death.

Police arrested Guenuite Kiwangala Mubwaka, 25, and charged her with second-degree murder. Josaphat Mayuba Ndele, 30, was also arrested and was charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.
