Update: Bryan Emmanuel Fuentes Gramajo & Jimmy Prudent Wanted for First Degree Murder – Toronto police investigate a fatal shooting at Yorkdale Shopping Centre

Toronto police were called to a shooting in the Yorkdale Shopping Centre parking lot in the area of Dufferin Street and Highway 401 at around 6:13 a.m on July 17th.

On arrival police located Kashif Jamal Bentley-Jean, 28, also known as Lil Bentley of Toronto, suffering from gunshot injuries. He was pronounced at the scene.

Update: Following an extensive investigation, police identified three male suspects in connection with a first-degree murder case. Canada-wide warrants were issued for their arrest.

On Monday, August 4, 2025, officers from the Policier Gendarmerie 3-Ouest and the Service de police de Laval arrested one of the suspects under the Canada-wide warrant.

Bradley Lucate Nicolas, 20, from Montreal, Quebec, was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder. He appeared in court at the Laval Courthouse on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

Police continue to search for the remaining two suspects and are asking for the public’s help in locating them:

  • Bryan Emmanuel Fuentes Gramajo, 23, of Longueuil, Quebec – Wanted for First Degree Murder
  • Jimmy Prudent, 28, of Montreal, Quebec – Wanted for First Degree Murder

Authorities warn that the individuals are considered armed and dangerous. If seen, do not approach—call 9-1-1 immediately.
